
Mumbai Indians on Wednesday defeated Chennai Super Kings by 37 runs and has now become the first team to win 100 IPL matches.
Batting first, Mumbai Indians lost the openers early and were struggling. They were 93/3 in 15 overs but Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard helped them reach a defendable total of 170. Pandya smashed 25 off 8 balls with 3 sixes and 1 four and Pollard scored 17 off 7 with 2 sixes.
Chennai struggled throughout their batting and fell short of the target by 37 runs. Jason Behrendoff, who was on debut and Hardik Pandya shined with the ball.
Hardik Pandya was awarded Man of the Match for his all round performance.
