Mohammad Yousuf, the senior batsman from Pakistan has joined his team for the Indian Cricket League. He has joined ICL despite being selected for the International Pakistani team for a three-match ODI series against West Indies.
Zakir Khan, Operations Director of Pakistan Cricket Board in a news conference said “He didn’t tell us he was going to India. We heard about it ourselves two hours back. We called up his home and his wife has confirmed he has gone to India to play in the ICL”.
He further said that Yousuf would be banned from all forms of cricket in Pakistan if he plays in ICL.
