Lowest Score in IPL History
Royal Challengers Bangalore holds the record for the lowest score in IPL history. On 23rd Apr 2017, RCB was chasing, what is considered an easy score of 132 runs. But the Kolkata Knight Riders made it very difficult for RCB to score runs and bundled the Bangalore side for just 49 runs. Nathan Coulter-Nile, Chris Woakes, and Colin de Grandhomme each picked up 3 wickets for their side.
Batting first, KKR sent Sunil Narine to open the innings and it proved useful as he was the highest scorer for their side. He scored a blistering 34 runs off 17 balls with 6 fours and 1 six. Despite Narine, no one seemed to time the ball really and thus the KKR side were restricted to 131 runs.
But RCB displayed an even worse batting performance as the highest run scorer from their side was Stuart Binny who scored 9 runs.
Along with the lowest total, RCB also holds the record for the highest score in IPL history.

Lowest Scores in IPL Over the Years
IPL 2022
Royal Challengers Bangalore registered the lowest total in IPL 2022. They could score only 68 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 23rd April 2022 at Brabourne stadium. Batting first, the RCB batting lineup was bundled in only 16.1 overs. Suyash Prabhudessai was the highest scorer with 15 runs. Marco Jansen and T. Natarajan both picked 3 wickets each for SRH. In response, SRH chased the total in just 8 overs with 9 wickets to spare.
IPL 2021
85 runs was the least total in IPL 2021 scored by Rajasthan Royals. This score came against Kolkata Knight Riders while chasing a total of 172 runs. Rahul Tewatia was the highest scorer for RR with 44 of 36 and Shubhman Gill was the top scorer with 56 off 44. Shivam Mavi picked up 4 wickets whereas Lockie Ferguson picked up 3 wickets for KKR.
