He rejoined as a MI player in 2019 after serving a year in the franchise’s coaching staff.

Amit Mishra is the second highest wicket taker in the Indian Premier League with 160 wickets to his name. He has played 150 IPL matches. He has played for Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Delhi Capitals in his IPL Career. Currently, he is in the Delhi Capitals squad. Mishra had to miss IPL 2020 mid-season due to injury.
